With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janice Lee Mathesius (Paw Paw, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janice Lee left this world on February 20, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Alford and Veryl Alford (Smith); her grandson Adam Johnson; and her brother-in-law Tom Banta. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Mathesius; her daughters, Susan Tompkins (Bill Weirich), Cheryl Johnson (Tim) and Victoria Price (Tom); her grandchildren, Todd Tompkins (Sarah), Jill Rockstead (Chasen), Josh Johnson (Brenna) and Taylor Johnson; her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Lucas, Wesson, Nora, Grant, Lucy, Henry, Owen and Molly; and her siblings, Tom Alford (Donna) and Kathy Banta.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Paw Paw United Methodist Church (370 Wiley Ave, Paw Paw, IL 61353). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
