Wanda Spicer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Wanda Spicer of Patoka, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Burks and Goldie Bell Burks (Hoobery); her husband John M. Spicer; her siblings, Vivian Burks, Donna Evans (Richard) and Everett Burks; her sisters-in-law, Donna Burks and Deloris Burks; her niece Maddie Miller; and her great grandchild Samuel McNeely.

She is survived by: her children, Preston Spicer (Stephanie) of Patoka, John Spicer (Tammy) of Patoka, Vicky Silva of Patoka, Sonya Butler (Wayne Hesson) of Boulder and Kimberley Hassell (Corey) of Patoka; her grandchildren, Matt Podergois (Crissy), Frank Podergois (Nikki), Wanda Silva (Phillip Blackwood), Jimmy Butler (Abby), Misty McNeely (Justin), John Spicer (Celeste Fox), Kayla Morris (Collin), Gracie Spicer, Nicole Cain (Shane), Wyatt Hassell, Macey Spicer and Brody Spicer; her siblings, Chester Burks, Orville Burks (Judy), Wilma McElroy (Jim) and Vera Ray (David); and her sons-in-law, David Silva and Danny Butler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A visitation time to offer condolences to the family will be held from 12:00 P. M. until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home where those in attendance will be asked to wear a mask and the amount of people in the funeral home will be limited.
