With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Harris of Patoka, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Violia Harris (Doza); his wife Elizabeth Choute; his former wife Janis Howard; his siblings, David Harris, Kevin Harris and Carol Conway; and his sons, Michael Harris Jr., Jeffery Harris and Christopher Harris.
He is survived by: his father Charles Eugene; his daughter Michelle Hicks (Michael) of Vernon; his stepchildren, Julie Martin (Chad) and Billy Howard; his grandsons, Matthew Hicks (Kate) and Marcus Hicks; his stepgrandchildren, Alexas Howard, Jamie Newkirk (Jesse), Megan Martin and Sean Martin; his great grandchildren, Zaelyn, Liam, Leyton, Aleah, Amilia, Scarlett, Finley and Ridge; and his sisters, Brenda Hanser, Debbie Reyes and Cheryl Temple. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Memorials may be made in Mike's honor to Warrior Nation Cancer Foundation and will be accepted for the family at the Day Macz Funeral Home 234 South Elm Centralia, IL 62801.
