Betty Sullens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2024, at the age of 91, Betty Sullens of Patoka, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jackson and Ethel Jackson; her husband Dean Edward Sullens; her daughter-in-law Brenda Sullens; and her siblings, Norma Jackson and Robert Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Les Sullens of Vernon, Teresa Sullens of Patoka, Brenda Andrews (Veryl) of Salina, KS and Sarah Sullens of Salem; her grandchildren, Brandon Sullens (LeAnna) of Ramsey, Jamie Blackwell (Jeremy) of Shelbyville, Jory Landes of Kinmundy, Josh Sullens (Jennifer) of Alma and Jeremy Sullens (Cindy) of Tucson, AZ; and her sisters, Dorothy Kleiboeker, Helen Jett (Beryl) and Agnes Gries (Dave). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, extended family, members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Patoka Funeral Home (101 E Clinton Ave, Patoka, IL 62875). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Betty's honor to Patoka Ambulance Service and/or Martin Cemetery.
