He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Rita; his children, William (Eileen), Kathy Pierce, Michael (Michelle) and Susan Tracy; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Ryan, Kelsey, Shanna (John), Michael, Jake, Julie, Claire, Madeline, Quinn and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, McKenzie, McKayla, McKinley and Mason.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooney Funeral Home (625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (3546 N Paulina St, Chicago, IL 60657). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers donations to Misericordia would be appreciated.
