Walter Minor Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2024, Walter Minor of Park Ridge, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Minor and Margaret Minor; his sister Marisue Pope; his son Doug; and his grandson Ryan Sernel.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Capotosto; his children, Chris Minor-Hubbell (Marv), Laurie Citta and Tracy Sernel (Marc); his grandchildren, Kevan Kresl (Jack), Catherine and Doug Sernel; his great grandchildren, James and Charlie; and his siblings, Butch (Dixie) and Sharon McNeil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Cooney Funeral Home (625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church (320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068).
