We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2024, at the age of 90, Varvara Phassos (Park Ridge, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Phassos; and her siblings, Georgia Kostakis (late James), Katina Katrakis (late Theodore) and George Stiris. She is survived by: her children, Patty and Gregory Phassos (Anastasia); her grandchildren, Andrew, Anna and George Phassos; and her siblings, Eleni Droulias (late Jim) and Peter Stiris (late Angeliki).

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Saint Demetrios Chicago Philoptochos Society for a scholarship fund in Mrs. Phassos's memory.
