He was predeceased by: his sister Marilyn Gulan; and his parents, Thomas and Diana. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Bridget Flanagan and TJ Flanagan (Tanya); his grandchildren, John, Tommy and Livia; and his sister Judy Haughey (Joseph).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooney Funeral Home (625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul of the Cross Church (320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068).
