He was predeceased by: his parents, Durga Das and Namita Devi Banerji. He is survived by: his daughters, Noopur McKenna and Anita (Mona); his sons-in-law, Sundaresh and Shane; his granddaughters, Jasmine and Sofie; his brothers, Pravir (Shashwati) and Mihir (Sumitra); his nephews, Siddharth (Eika), Akash (Nidhi) and Saurabh (Jai); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Oishee, Tavishee, Ishan, Avani and Advaay.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel (2021 N University St, Peoria, IL 61604). A prayer was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Banerji Residence (11103 N Rhonda Way, Dunlap, IL 61525).
