Ruth E. Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, at the age of 99, Ruth E. Smith of Park Ridge, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth E. Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Peck Smith, Jr.; her niece Celeste Wohlers (late Ray); her nephews, Steven Kressner (Dee) and Scott Kressner (Carol); her sister Marjorie Kressner (late William); and her siblings-in-law, Frank J. (Phyllis) and Elizabeth Mathison (late Amos).
She is survived by: her nephew Frank J. II Smith (Barbara); and her niece Deborah Debenham (Randy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Luke Lutheran Church (205 N Prospect Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068).
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ruth's name to St. Luke Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
