He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Irene) and Margaret Jones (Jerry); his wife Celia; his son Myles Joyce Jr.; his parents, Stephen Joyce and Péigín; his siblings, Patrick, Stephen (Siobhán), Joseph, Mike (Maggie), Brigid Sullivan (Joe) and Mary Kane (Peter); his grandsons, Stephen and Kevin; and his stepgrandchildren, Cody, Nicholas, Larissa and Tatiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
