He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughter Lynn Portugall (Don Cheval); his granddaughters, Emily Dobberstein (John Dobberstein), Kate Canfield and Caroline Canfield; his daughter Susan Portugall (Sean McConnell); his grandchildren, Patrick McConnell and Madeleine McConnell; his brother Richard Portugall; and also Michael Miller.
