She was predeceased by: her parents, Kay Sorn and Frank Sorn; her husband Pat; her brother Thomas; her mother-in-law Carol; and her sister-in-law Terry.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Douglass, Rick Smith (Betty Lou), Cyndi Smith (Basem Harb) and Gretchen Miller (Brian); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Michael Smith, Hannah, Thali Douglass, Brady, Sean and Danny Miller; her sisters, Dottie, Maggie and Peggy; and her sisters-in-law, Loretto and Kathy.
A wake was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ryan-Parke Funeral Home (120 S NW Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Paul of the Cross Church (320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068). In 2011 she took very ill with a SARS-COVID like virus, putting her on the brink of death several times.
