He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank C. Bode and Alena B. Bode. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Bode (Murphy); his children, Frank C. Bode, Kathleen Sachs (Daniel) and Jennifer Muchoney (Andrew); and his granddaughters, Emma and Cassandra Muchoney.
