He was predeceased by: his parents, Haakon Nelson and Ruth Nelson; his spouse Siri June Nelson (Karlsson); and his siblings, Miriam (late Raymond) and Warren (late Suzanne).
He is survived by: his sons, Paul (Cindy), Lawrence, David (Krista) and Timothy; his grandchildren, Ruby, Alex, Lucy, James and Colton; and his nephews, Brian and Erik (Molly).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (820 W Talcott Rd, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
