He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis J. Whitford; his sister Dorothy Halverson; and his parents, Leland C. Whitford and Kathryn Whitford. He is survived by: his children, Karen Weinert (late George) and Peter Whitford (Sharon); his grandchildren, Tina Cozad (Mike), Andrew (Michelle), William Weinert (Robyn) and Nicholas Whitford; and his great grandchildren, Joelle and Sophia Cozad.
