She is survived by: her children, Caroline Vengazo (Rich) and Robert Brooner (Anne); her grandchildren, Caitlin, Alexis, Michael Vengazo, Gloria and Laura Brooner; her brothers, Robert Giunta (Robin) and James Giunta (Jennifer); and her former husband William Brooner. She is also survived by cousins and dear friends.

“Caroline & Family, Barbara and I always started our morning at 7am when we met for breakfast. Barbara was a terrific friend and enjoyed when I came to her studio. Twenty-four hours prior to her passing I looked at her book which highlights family, that she adored. I am so thankful for viewing her book because I realized how important it was to her. I am grateful having the opportunity of knowing Barbara! I will miss Barbara, but feel at ease since she’s in a better place.”
