He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Theresa; his children, Mary Breen (Edward), Ambrose (Angela), Gerard (Gina) and Elizabeth Miniscalco (Keith); his grandchildren, Caitlin, Catherine Bodnar (Brian), Brenna, Jaclyn Martinez (Francisco), Margaret, Theresa, Kelly, Christina and Vincent; his great grandchild Vivian; and his siblings, Tiny of Newport and Mayo.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cooney Funeral Home (625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of All Saints Basilica (6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Misericordia (6300 N. Ridge, Chicago, IL 60660) would be appreciated.
