She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert and Catherine; and her close friend Joy P. Green. She is survived by: her husband Joe Cate; her children, Tim Cate (Katie), Michael Cate, Alice Cate (Bill Bormet) and Jim Cate (Jen); her grandchildren, Gillian, Carter, Thatcher, Addison and Clark Cate; and her brother Tim Allman (Donna).
