She is survived by: her children, Gene, Jr. Schmittgens (Jane Armstrong), Dan Schmittgens (Judy Segler), Terry Schmittgens (late Neal Podell), Linda Lonergan (Mike), Mary Lindberg (Dan), Rene Swidenbank (Graham), David Schmittgens (Kim Ataide) and Elizabeth Palid (Charles); her grandchildren, Rob (Teresa), Annie Schmittgens (AJ Lubecker), Eric (Andrea), Jeffrey, Jason Schmittgens, Jake, Nick, Zac Lonergan, Daniel (Christie Carrino), Claire (Dave Mellet), Caroline, Matthew Lindberg, Andrew, Helen, Graham, Miriam Swidenbank (Jan), Lucy, Owen, Henry Schmittgens, Benjamin and Mary Palid; and her children, Linus Eugene Martens SJ, Thomas Martens (Camille), Lois Ann Martens and Patricia Martens Balke (late Gary). She is also survived by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, siblings.
