He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Algmin and Dorothy Algmin of Chicago, IL. He is survived by: his sister Jane Howard (Alf) of Boston, MA; his children, Anthony Algmin (Helen) of Lombard, IL, Christopher Algmin (Kristin) of Parkersburg, WV and Allison Clarkson (Willie) of Highland Village, TX; his grandchildren, Isaac, Justin, Arthur, Noah, Irene, Elaine and Vincent; and his former spouse Jan Algmin of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
