He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Greta Hoving; his children, Lisa Brumfield (Dion), Ashley Garcia (late Fernando) and Kathleen Vanderbilt (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Jayden, Lucas, Ami and Mason; his siblings, Daniel Hoving (Michele), Cheryl Grossnickle (Mark), Pamela Pansa (Robert), Christie Harkins (Marvin Jr.), Heather Woodward (Joseph) and Holly Hoving; and his parents, Adolph "Bud" and Barbara Hoving.
