He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wieland and Margaret Wieland (Davis); his brother Ronald Wieland; his sister-in-law Susie Armstrong; and his grandson Drew Wieland.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wieland (Armstrong) of Paris; his sons, Bill Wieland (Mary) of Orlando and Andy Wieland (Teena) of Orlando; his stepchildren, Jamie Bittinger (David) of Decatur, Joseph Ricketts of Decatur and Scott Ricketts of Philippines; his siblings, Nancy Secondino of Vermilion, Robert "Weegie" Wieland of Paris and Rick Wieland of Paris; his brother-in-law Jerry Armstrong (Connie) of Danville; his grandchildren, Patrick Wieland and Elizabeth Popkins (Duncan); his stepgrandchildren, Eddi-Lee Jones, Ashlee Smith (Brandon), Helee Jones (Leroy Husher), Jonathon Jones (Shannon), Jacob Stone (Cassie), Zachariah Ricketts, Kara Ricketts, Chase Ricketts (Kasey), Justin Bittinger and Hayley Malone; his niece Brandi Hodgson of Paris; and his pet Che Che. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Federal Mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone is asked to be patient and abide by the state regulation of 25 visitors with masks allowed inside the funeral home.
