Wilma J. Phillips Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma J. Phillips of Paris, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Rouse and Ruby E. Rouse (Hagley); her daughter Lorri Ann Prouse (Phillips); her siblings, Robert Eugene Rouse, John Henry Rouse, William J. Rouse, Ruby Marie Cannon (Rouse) and Frances Orabelle Barker (Rouse); her half-sister Treva M LaFever; her nieces and nephews, William "Bill" Cannon, Bryan A. Cannon, Mark Rouse, Julia Ann Rouse Parker and Katherine "Kathy" Louise Barker; her grandson Kayl Joseph Yocum; and her great grandchild Kaydence Lee Ann Dycus.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Lynn Phillips and Christina Kay; her son-in-law Benjamin N.; her grandchildren, Morgan Renee Benjamin (Prouse), Dylan Lee Waltz (Brittany), Cera June Hoskins (Waltz), Kyle Dayton Prouse, Lyndon Lee Yocum and Cody Pierce Yocum (Katie); her great grandchildren, Jaylen Avery Mae Deal, Ava Dawn Washburn, Olin Joseph Waltz, Granger Jordan Lee Waltz, Waylen Wesley Eggleston, Lynnlee K. Yocum, Knox B. Yocum, Paisley J. Coombes and Pria J. Yocum; and her nieces and nephews, Theresa Johnson (Rick), Connie Cannon, Russell Barker (Pam), Patricia Kinderman, Charlotte Lowe (James), Debra Barker, Christine Howard (Everett) and Diane Hickman (Ronny). She is also survived by several great-nieces and -nephews and cousins.
For those who wishing to donate in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of her daughter, Lorri A Prouse, to Scottland United Methodist Church, or to the Alzheimer's Association.
