She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Joseph and Thelma Stumpp Klass of Virginia; and her sister Shirley Cartwright. She is survived by: her children, Dale Lewsader, Gale Lewsader, Kenneth Lewsader, Kurt Lewsader, Mark Lewsader, Connie Hogan, Daniel Lewsader, Carolyn Dawson and Amy Strader. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
