He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie A. Bird and Lena Steppe Bird; and his brother Joseph Benjamin Bird. He is survived by: his children, Rebeca Bird, Freddie Bird (Amy) and Amanda Bird; his grandchildren, Elijah, Caleb, Anna Grace, Joseph Bird, Chelsee, Jonathan and Landon Garvin; his siblings, Edie Breneman (Matt), Jeannette Wrin (John), Mark Bird (Erna) and Phil Bird (Diana); and his friend George. He is also survived by numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
