He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel D. Switzer and Letha Switzer (DePriest); and his siblings, Beulah Gill, LeRoy "Pec" Switzer, Clifton Switzer, Betty Webster, Rosie Clements, Thelma Sly, Susie Woods, Ruth Rose and Charles Switzer.
He is survived by: his wife Evellyn Switzer of Paris; his children, Debra G. Gosnell (Tim) of Marshall, Ferron E. Switzer (Karen) of Paris, Gary D. Switzer (Bonnie) of Chino Valley and Leslie J. Padrick (Todd) of Lerna; and his sister Herriett Gann of Paris. He is also survived by several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
