It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Martin of Paris, Illinois, born in New Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Martin and Mildred Martin (Groves); and his sister Jane Gilman. He is survived by: his sons, Barry Martin (Tammy) of Terre Haute, Andrew Martin (Michelle) of Paris and Kent Martin (Nancy) of Charleston, Illinois; and his sister Judy Rankins of Clinton, Indiana. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Paris Youth Baseball Bill Cash Fund or to the Altrusa Imagination Library Fund.
