He is survived by: his children, Dustin Lee Swinford (Ashley) of Paris, Dale Hartley (Carol) of Paris, William Cody Swinford (Nicole) of Michigan City, Anthony Atwood Swinford of Paris and Casey Victoria Swinford of Paris; his brother Thomas Swinford of Chandler; and his grandchildren, Devin Swinford, Courtney Swinford, Maire Hartley, Keiran Hartley, Liam Hartley, Rowan Hartley, Katelyn Runyan, Ethan Swinford, Wyatt Roberts, Alisa Roberts, Jack Swinford, Zoey Swinford, Rozalynn Swinford, Hulin Swinford, Isaac Swinford and Josie Swinford.
