It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy L. Newell (Paris, Illinois), born in Tamaha, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Abby Bryant and Lenora Bryant (Reynolds); her son Jerry Roofener; and her siblings, Glen, Jerry Bryant and Jo Ellen Tonkovich.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Halloran (Jay) of Paris and Christy Rinehart of Miller, Missouri; her siblings, Jonny Bryant of Keota, Jimmy Bryant of Prior, Jeff Bryant of Keota, Marilyn Burson of Atlanta, Pam Seehaufer of Braidwood, Illinois and Judy Toller of Braidwood, Illinois; her daughter-in-law Jeannie McPherson of Marseilles; and her grandchildren, Kristin Curry (John), Nikki Flowers, Dakota Hovis (Marissa), Austin Newell, Alexis Newell (Harry), Colt Rinehart (Teyah) and Amanda Dena. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
