She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvah Lavanway and Phyllis Lavanway (Koger); her spouse C. Ray Waltz; her son Jerry Waltz; her brother Steve Lavanway; and her half-sister Phyllis Landis.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Robert Waltz (Kimberlee Smith) of Marshall, Illinois, Cheryl Baldwin (James) of Tucson and Diana Walker of Ringgold, Georgia; her siblings, David Lavanway of Denver, Colorado and Emily Bishop of Charleston, Illinois; her half-brother Pete Babb (Hye) of Huntsville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Matt Baldwin (Casey), Barry Baldwin, Amber Pierson (Tylan), Tyler Fiscus, Mykayla Waltz, Madilyn Fairchild (Richie) and Alex Waltz; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Robert, Moses, Katelyn Baldwin, Kamille, Kloe and Kora Pierson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
