He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McCarty and Fern McCarty (Ashley). He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann Hewitt; his children, Josh McCarty (Samantha), Heather Stafford (Lewis Thiel) and Johnathon McCarty (Maddie); his sister Patti Muchow (Dale); his grandchildren, Gunner McCarty, Emma, Lillian Stafford, Asher and Tate McCarty; his mother-in-law Edith Hewitt; and his aunt Dorothy Evans of Paris.
