It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Delaney of Paris, Illinois, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Delaney and Gertrude Delaney (Gray); and her brother Thomas Delaney Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lois Hard of Paris, Donna Clements D'Amelio of Virginia, Susan Clements Cowan of Georgia, Walter Dent Clements Jr. of Georgia and Barbara Ann Clements of Georgia; and her sister Rose Marie English of Easton, Maryland.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and over 60 great grandchildren.
