She was predeceased by: her parent Lester Franklin; her son Larry Eugene Pitts; her brothers, Robert Fonner, Gene Fonner, Roy Fonner and Les Fonner; and her grandson Larry Pitts II.
She is survived by: her parent Zella Estella Fonner (Jones); her children, James Pitts, Jr. of Chandler, Dianna David (George) of Paris, Mary Lou Pitts of Paris and Lisa Neu (Bill) of Paris; and her brothers, Richard "Dick" Fonner of Chrisman and Charles "Chuck" Fonner of Las Vegas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
