It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion J. Pate (Paris, Illinois), born in Salem, Illinois, who passed away on July 8, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion B. Bryant and Ilah Mae Bryant (Leamon); her daughter Amanda Fessant; and her granddaughter Maddie Fessant. She is survived by: her spouse Dale Eugene Pate; her daughters, Dawn Kirby (Tim) and Debra Ford (Gary); her stepsons, Larry Pate (Brenda) of Tipton and Dale Pate of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her siblings, Dennis Bryant (Billie) of Ft. Pierce, Louie Bryant (Donna) of Salem and Brenda Petta (Tom) of River Falls, Wisconsin; and her son-in-law B. J. Fessant of Paris. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Christmas for Kids or to the Kara Ike Care Fund in care of First Mid Bank.
