He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Batchelor and Lelah Batchelor (Pettyjohn); his sister Martina Truesdale; and his niece Linda Cusick. He is survived by: his sister Karen Kennedy (Ray); and his niece Sue Truesdale of Paris.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Human Resources Center of Edgar & Clark Counties.
