He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Wooten and Moline Wooten (Parkhurst); his wife Darlene F. Bough; and his sister Helen Blaskovich. He is survived by: his children, Chuck Wooten (Melynda) of Paris, Diane Tait (Terry) of Casey and Dana Wooten of Paris; his grandchildren, Annie Barrett (Nathan) of Chrisman, Abbie Higginbotham (Reese) of Paris and Bailey Maulding of Casey; and his great grandchildren, Meredith Barrett and Nash Higginbotham.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Faith in Action of Edgar County.
