She was predeceased by: her father Bernard "Butch" Downey. She is survived by: her mother Jean Downey (Vicory) of Terre Haute, Indiana; her children, Morgan Waln of Urbana, Brooke Waln of Loves Park, Ethan Waln (Rebecca) of Veedersburg and Gavin Waln (Mary) of Waynetown; and her siblings, Jason Scott of Marshall, Illinois, Laura Clark of Paris, Jeanette Taylor of Terre Haute, Jeanna Waln of Melrose, Lyndsey Scott of Coshocton and Christy Miller of Oakland, Illinois. She is also survived by her loving companion and partner of seventeen years.
