She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Knecht and Georgia Knecht (Hoyt); and her nephew Matthew Halloran. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Young of Bloomington; and her sister Linda Halloran (Tom) of Paris. She is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Eastside Christian Church of Bloomington.
