It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Lee McElyea of Paris, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Smith and Esther Smith (White). She is survived by: her children, Sandra Litteral (Frank) of Oklahoma City, Tabatha Heitzman (Roger) of Rockville and James McElyea (Sally) of Orion, Illinois; and her brother Warren Smith (Connie) of Springfield, Illinois.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
