John P. Evitt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P. Evitt of Paris, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Evitt and Ardath Evitt (Schuler); his wife Shelby Jean Allcorn; and his siblings, Madeline, Bernard, Leon and Richard.

He is survived by: his children, John Allen Evitt (Beverly) and Lori Ivy (Shane); his grandchildren, Alicia, Amanda, Josh, Santana and Shane; his great grandchildren, Roman, Aaliyah, Jasper, Madison, Benjamin and Savannah; and his parents-in-law, Vivian, Ed Delashmit, Patricia Shackleton, Cindy Cox, Stanley and Marilyn Beschorner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
