It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Hittle (Paris, Illinois), born in Delphos, Ohio, who passed away on March 13, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Hittle and Helen Hittle (Rott); and his sister Isabelle Ott. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ellen Rhoads; his daughter Jeri Lynn Bone (Brad) of Champaign, Illinois; his sister Amy Buettner of Lima, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kyle Bone of Oklahoma City and Lindsey Schultz (Jordan) of Monmouth, Illinois; and his great grandchildren, Liam Bone, Levi and Ben Schultz.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Lincolnland Hospice, Edgar County Animal Shelter, or First Christian Church of Paris.
