It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. McNary of Paris, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don G. McNary and Kathleen McNary; and his sister Patricia. He is survived by: his children, Christopher J. McNary (Laura) of Plano, Texas and Erin (Patrick Miranda) of Miami, Fla.; his grandson Evan James McNary; his brother Ken Claypool of Marshall; his sister-in-law Nancy Claypool of Marshall; and his nephews, Tyler Claypool (Tara) of Marshall, Ethan Claypool (Aubrey) of Marshall and Ryan Claypool (Abby) of Portland, Ore..
Memorial donations may be made to the Edgar County Community Foundation in John McNary's honor or the McNary Family Scholarship Fund at Marshall High School for Marshall students.
