He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlo Vice and Virginia Vice (Spencer); and his siblings, Roy, Herb, Tom, Don Vice, Jim Riffey, Mary Lou Sudduth, Annabelle Sallee and Dixie Gabriel.
He is survived by: his wife Janet R. Huston; his sons, John A. Vice, Jr. (Julie) of Tiffin and Jason A. Vice (Christy) of Brighton, Illinois; his siblings, Max Vice of Paris, David Vice of West Frankfort, Victor Vice of Tatum and Kathleen Slade of Urbana, Illinois; his grandchildren, Renee, John "Tre", Karlee, Kylee, Ike, Izzy, Blake and Alex; and his great grandchildren, Sebastian and Sunny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
