Swanson of Paris, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Arthur Swanson and Frances Ines Swanson (Shustedt); his former wife Eleanor Anne Kalter; and his children, Christopher "Kit" Swanson and Jennifer Reames.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Burgess (North); and his children, Jeffrey Swanson (Lesa) of Westfield and Regina Borodach of Lakeland. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members and dear friends.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Link Art Center or to a charity of the donor's choice.
