He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry and Bessie Josephine Switzer (Cline). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn Gann; his children, Eric Switzer (Sarah) of Paris and Brittany Switzer (Cody Lewis) of Evansville, Indiana; his siblings, Brian Switzer (Bobbie Jo) of Paris, Randy Switzer (Becky) of Brocton, Kim Hackett (Mitch) of Paris and Tammy Sexton of Paris, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Bentley Switzer, Wesley Switzer, Reese Decker and Lydia Snyder.
Memorials may be made to Oliver Fire Station or Shriners Hospital.
