He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Taylor and Rosemary Taylor (Smith); and his grandparents, Frieda Freeman O'Neil, Glen Smith, James A. Taylor and Cumie Black Dourbley.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Martin (Kurtis), Kortni Hamil (Zach), Marah Butler (Cesar Xibille), Megan Butler and Logan Taylor; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Martin, Calvin Hamil, Hadley Hamil and Leon Taylor; his siblings, Curtis Taylor, Troy Taylor, Charles Tischer, Sandra Lewis (Rick) and Amy Sisson (Brad); and his close friend Shelly Riggs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins that were more like siblings.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Paris City League Basketball.
