She is survived by: her spouse Karl Ernest Maerz Sr.; her children, Kerin Leigh, Kaye Lorraine Maerz of Charleston and Karl Ernest Maerz Jr (Matsue); her sister June Aukerman of Temecula; her grandchildren, Steven Lewis (Stacy) of Lockport, Donald Maerz (Priscilla) of St. Cloud and Ronald Maerz (Karin) of Ft; and her nieces and nephews, Britt Miller and Lisa Miller.
