With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Kite (Paris, Illinois), born in Charleston, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Evelyn Pearl Kite (Hite); and his sister Nancy Korte. He is survived by: his wife Jane A. Rogers; his children, Marla Fox (Ray) of Shelbyville, Mitch Kite (Mary Reed) of Oakland and Carl Potter (Emma) of Paris; his grandchildren, Kelsey Potter (Gib Rogers) of Paris, Katie Potter (Zack Gibson) of Paris and Steven Nichols (Mandy) of Charleston; and his great grandchildren, Zayne Rogers, Boe Gibson, Cruz Rogers and Brinley Gibson.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Paris First Church of the Nazarene.
