He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Griffin and Lillie Griffin (Parsley); his wife Betty J. Griffin; his siblings, John Russell Griffin, Phyllip Griffin and Alice Marietta; and his daughter-in-law Vickie Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia "Ginny" Stoeber (Jerome) of Bloomington and Wayne H. Griffin of Paris; his siblings, Ralph Griffin (Betty Jo) and Phyllis Brooks (Russell) of Paris; his sisters-in-law, Norma Griffin of Paris and Betty Griffin of Casey; and his grandchildren, Katie Keller (Greg) of Paris, Jennifer Stoeber of Normal, Andrew Stoeber of Normal and Alycia Elliott (Chris) of Danville. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Asher Community Club or Bell Ridge Christian Church.
